Superman ice cream was not really what I expected. The flavors are blue raspberry, cherry and vanilla. I don't think those mix well that much. I thought it would be more like rainbow sherbet, because people told me that. That was not true. I threw most of it away. I think it was too sweet and plainer than the rainbow sherbet. I give it 2 out of 5 stars. Poor Superman... (These are two nice girls who work at the Candy Shoppe. It wasn't their fault.)

Banana Cream Pie
Today I tried Banana Cream Pie. When I saw the name of the ice cream yesterday, I wanted to try it; it sounded like it would be creamy, bananay and piey. But my mom's favorite ice cream is Zanzibar and that is what I tried yesterday because sometimes I have had a lick of it, so I had it. Anyway, back to the banana cream pie.I liked it because it was creamy and I think chunks of banana were in it, and it was good at first, but the aftertaste wasn't that good. It wasn't my favorite, but it was a good thing that I tried it. It was in a cup again.
I went with my friends Charlie and Megan. I had lots of play dates today. My friend Ella and her sister Bobby are sleeping over tonight!
I give it 3 out of 5 stars.

Zanzibar Chocolate
We are back from Pennsylvania. It was fun and I got to ride lots of roller coasters. I was excited to see my Grandma and my cousin. My aunt works for Coach and she gave me a new cool bag. I love it. Now on to ice cream...
Today's flavor is Zanzibar. It is dark chocolate. It is a little bitter and chocolaty, but it is really good. It is also hard. I didn't have a cone today; I had it in a cup. The cup is a little harder to get ice cream with, because you are using a spoon instead of licking.
Here is a picture of my new bag and my new animals I got on the trip. I give this ice cream 3.7 stars.

Rainbow Sherbet

First of all, this is my favorite. I think Rainbow Sherbet is sweet, and fruity and colorful. It is also a little creamy and VERY good. Before we started this blog I used to get Rainbow Sherbet everytime. When the Schwann's guy comes to our house, we order Rainbow Sherbet from him, and that is all we get. I really love it. I give it 5 out 5 stars.
We are going to take a few days off from the blog because we are taking a little family trip. If I have any ice cream on the trip, we will try to blog from my mom's smart phone, but she doesn't know if it will work. I will be back this weekend! Bye.

Blueberry Wafflecone

Today I ordered Blueberry Wafflecone. It tastes like blueberries, which I like. There are pieces of chocolate wafflecone in it too. It also tasted like vanilla. I don't know if it is creamy. It tastes A LOT like blueberry.
I didn't go to the candy shop with my mom because I was playing at the beach with Carver. Carver's mom Kathy took us. And you might see some pictures later. Hovas was there too with her sons, Dylan and River. I had a lot of fun at the beach. I think ice creams tastes pretty good after playing at the beach, because I was a little thirsty, but I had fun. I dunked like two times and the water is cold at first, but if you step out of the water, it will get colder. I found a cool piece of birch bark that looks like a ring and I am wearing it.
I give Blueberry wafflecone 4 out of 5 stars!

Snowy White Elephant

First of all, this is Megan, me and Carver. We have ice cream on our faces. Megan has blue moon and she got a little crazy with her Blue Moon. I have Snowy White Elephant (for the blog) and Carver got Firecracker (which I tried yesterday)
OK, Snowy White Elephant is like Elephant Tracks, but with a vanilla base (rather than a chocolate base, like in Elephant Tracks) It tasted creamy and vanillay. (Is that even a word?) I think it has Reeses peanut butter cups in it. It also had chocolate in it. Even though I was full (we had lunch at Maggies and I three burritos) I ate it up. I give it 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Firecracker

Well, the word Firecracker refers to the pop rocks and they're 4th of July colored (red and blue) It reminds me of the 4th of July Parade on Madeline Island and the fireworks at night. The ice cream was good at first and tasted like strawberry (with pop rocks) but then the pop rocks got a little old to me. They actually felt like fireworks in my mouth, which was fun at first, but then it got a little uncomfortable. I give it 2.5 out of 5 stars. (This is me, my mom and her hat.)

Root Beer Twist

Today I got Rootbeer Twist on a sugar cone. Up until today, I only have ordered cake cones, but now I ordered a sugar cone. I didn't really care for it, but the ice cream was really good! (Tomorrow I will order a cake cone again.)
I liked the ice cream a LOT because it is creamy and it tastes a little like a rootbeer float, not too much rootbeer flavor. It is just right. The ice cream is a lot softer than all the others I have tasted. That helps make it more creamy to me. I give it 4 out of 5 stars! (So far, it is my favorite....)

Lady Bug Ice Cream
When I first thought of Lady Bug Ice Cream, I thought it would be red with chocolate chips in it, but I was wrong. It was vanilla with chocolate and caramel. It also had pecan nuts in it, which I am not a fan of, but the ice cream was still good. It reminded me of Hershey's syrup, but better. I give it 2.5 out of 5 stars.
Also, I had ice cream with my cousin Chris, his wife Angie and their daughter Addy. They are visiting Bayfield this weekend. This is a picture of Chris, Addy, Dad, Mom, Me and Angie.

Elephant Tracks

First off, here is some information about the Candy Shoppe. The Candy Shop is 24 years old. There are 33 regular flavors, 1 sugarless, and 2 frozen yogurt flavors. Allison works there, and her favorite flavor is Elephant Tracks (what we had today!) The best seller is Cookie Dough and Elephant Tracks (what we had today!) They don't make their ice cream, they get it from Cedar Crest.
Now, for the review. I think Elephant tracks is sweet and creamy. It has a chocolate flavor and some Reese's peanut buttercups. I like it specially because it is a little bitter but sweet too. At first I thought it had nuts, and I tried to avoid them, but then Carver told me they were Reese's peanut butter cups. I didn't believe him, but then I tasted one and they were. I give it 3 out of 5 stars.
Carver had ice cream too. He had Root Beer Twister. He says it was good, but I will try it later and talk about it on this blog.

Getting Started!
This is Liz, Em's mom. We came up with this idea to try to get through all the flavors of ice cream sold at the Candy Shoppe in Bayfield, WI. Being an English teacher, I thought I should make my daughter write a paragraph about each flavor. (She wants to be either a food critic, a chef or a rock star when she grows up. She's 7.) So, today I started a blog and tomorrow we will take her down to the candy shop (armed with a camera) and I will make her write about her experience.
Oh yeah, we will be getting "kid's cones" which are tiny, so don't worry about her weight or teeth. We're pretty good on that stuff.
Tomorrow this will look cooler - with photos and stuff.
Thanks,
Liz
